Arenal National Park
Arenal National Park has many features such as lakes, rainforests, hot springs, waterfalls, hiking trails, hanging bridges, and even a volcano! The park is located in Northwestern Costa Rica, and it is best to visit December through April because that is the dry season and you can see the volcano the clearest.

Arenal National Park is mostly known for its volcano, Arenal Volcano. Arenal Volcano has erupted in 1968, 2000, and 2003, and is still active, just in the resting phase. One of the most popular things to do in this area is to hike through the volcano and the rainforests.

Another fun and relaxing activity to do is to spend time in the hot springs near the volcano. Hot springs are springs of naturally hot water, typically heated by subterranean volcanic activity, in this case Arenal Volcano. These hot springs are very relaxing to swim or even just float or relax in.
